Type of wine: Semi Dry Rosé Wine .
Appellation: Protected Geographical Indication Drama.
Varietals: Grenache Rouge
Production Area: Northern Greece, in Macedonia, at the local community of Adriani, in the valley and the low hills on the South-East of Drama town.
Vineyards: Linear planting in north-south orientation at altitudes of around 225 m.
Harvest: Early September.
Vinification Method: Traditional rosé vinification at low temperature assisted by the Tavel method, where the must remains with the marc for a short period of time. Then, follows the classic rosé vinification at low temperature 12-14 ΟC.
Tasting Notes: Electric pink color with violet hues. With a pleasant nose of mango, peach and some hints of rose. Medium body in the mouth with a refreshing acidity and reminiscent of bubblegum and strawberry. Gentle with a long caramel aftertaste.
Aging: Will respond to aging for up to 2-3 years after harvest.
Perfect Pairing: With green salads, tiropita( feta cheese pie), blue cheese, Chinese food, fresh fruits and light desserts.
Serving Temperature: 8-10οC
